Casting Calls are the modern day equivalent to a Model Call. We changed the terminology for our business awhile back to remove the assumption that a client needs to be a model in order to participate. Instead, we are simply “casting” prospective clients for a themed shoot, all in an effort to get butts in seats.
There is a science to this, though. Casting Calls are a great way to introduce new sets, new ideas, and new clothing. Ideally, three to four Casting Calls should be run per year to fill any potential lackluster months. Casting Calls should not be your only source of booking, though.
